What it is
SSY accounts can be opened for a girl below 10 years. Deposits qualify for 80C deduction; interest and maturity are tax-free under EEE.
Who qualifies

How to apply
- 01Visit nsiindia.gov.in and create an account using your Aadhaar-linked mobile.
- 02Complete e-KYC and fill the application form with personal and bank details.
- 03Upload the documents listed above (scanned, under 2MB each, PDF or JPG).
- 04Submit and note the acknowledgement number for status tracking.
